Question in relation to health care/laboratory supplies distribution companies?

Has anyone started a small health care/laboratory product distribution company. As you know the health care/ and the laboratory supplies industry product distribution is to a great extend controlled by big companies. However i believe that there is a possible market out there, especially with the growing numbers of baby boomer and diseases. I am still just think a bout the concept and just started doing some market research, i have a very long way to go. But i was wondering whether there is anyone out there that has been in my shoes before and now has a small company running within a few provinces/states. I just would like to know how were you able to find a supplier that had no distribution in your area. And possible if you can give your prospective of how i should start this.

I have started working at home selling health care plans but not supplies. I have seen a big success with this. I am not sure about your area but in mine there are a lot of people without insurance for various reason. Some can not afford it some have been turned down for medical reasons etc... and with our plan NO ONE is turned down, there is no deductible, no preexisting conditions, no copay etc.. because it is a discount plan.
